| Summer Pontiac Shootout | | June 09, 2006 | | The Pontiac Shootout hosted by the South Central Texas Chapter of Pontiac Oakland Club International (SCTC POCI) was a big hit with everyone that attended! San Antonio Raceway (SAR) personnel were very helpful and presented two awards after the final race. SCTC POCI provided six awards and provided food and refreshments to racing participants. Thirty four cars participated in the three classes. The SCTC POCI is beginning the preliminary planning stages for another Shootout this Fall, pending a date and approval by San Antonio Raceway management. Once a date is approved by SAR management, we will announce the next event via email, web forums, SAR web site, and the SCTC POCI website.
